For five years, I led engaging campaigns for the adidas brand and their partners: NBA, MLS, NCAA, Dick's Sporting Goods, Lids and others.
There's nothing more satisfying than the opportunity to work with an exciting brand like adidas. Each year they have new goals and fresh concepts to help promote their products and to build great relationships with their retailers and sport leagues alike. I got involved by creating the start-to-finish experience of their campaigns, from the copy to the creative, the photography, the video storyboards... the whole spread. Plus, it didn't hurt to have a top-tier team to help pull it all off.
During these campaigns, we consistently saw results that increased sales several times over, while simultaneously growing their fan base. Below you'll find a few examples:

This campaign was a cross-channel initiative with the purpose of engaging potential customers in order to build excitement around the new Swingman series of jerseys. Consumers recorded their best basketball moves or funny outtakes and told us why they felt that they qualified as the best #NBASwingman. Each submitter entered to win a trip to the NBA Finals 2015 (a prize package that included admission, airfare and accommodation for two). The Grand Prize winner also created his own rap to go along with his video!

The #MyTeamMyCity campaign involved three different cities and MLS teams: Sporting KC, the Seattle Sounders and the Philadelphia Union. Our aim was to create a campaign that brought the players to the fans through fun appearances and conversations on social media. Both groups were asked to share pictures of themselves enjoying their favourite local spots — showcasing team spirit and how the city brings them together.
